Our Story
With Picme, I wanted to make an app that actually improves the online dating scene. Everybody has a smartphone these days, but dating apps are still modeled off the old early 2000s dating website where you send text messages back and forth. I wanted to make an app as close to in-person dating as possible without the pressure of being on a date, where it’s easy to break the ice and show your personality through picture messages.

Don’t just tell your match about that cool party you’re throwing this weekend, or that beach or nightclub you’re going to, actually show them in a more authentic and real way. There’s so much more to you than a couple profile pictures and some text messages!
